44 countries yesterday called on the Government of Eritrea to end its use of arbitrary detention and torture of its citizens. Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, to urge the Somali government to ensure a timely, independent and impartial investigation into the murder of Hassan Osman Abdi, the director of Shabelle Media Network, and that those responsible are held to account in a fair trial.
